Start MS Word 2007. You can open an existing document or start a new document.

Next select the Insert > Module menu option. A new blank code window will open. This is where the macro code will go. Here is the code. I hope you can copy and paste, if not the code is not that long to type.

Step 5
Before the code will run you have to add a reference to the Microsoft Speech Object Library. Select the Tools > References... menu option. Scan the list of references and click the little box next the "Microsoft Speech Object library", then click OK.

Step 6
You are finished with the code now, so do a File > Save and return to the main Word screen.

Step 7
In order to conveniently run your macros, you will probably want to add three buttons to the quick access tool bar. You can do this by clicking the small downward arrow with the “Customize quick access toolbar” tooltip on the title bar of MS Word near the Save, Undo and Redo buttons. Select “More commands” in the dropdown menu to open the “Word options” window. Select “Customize” on left hand menu and “Choose commands from” should be set to “Macros”. Add all three macros and this will create three buttons on the quick access tool bar. You can modify the button icons to more closely represent the TTS functions.

Step 8
Now your MS word is TTS enabled. Just click the Start, Pause, or Stop buttons and listen to the lovely Microsoft Anna.

The Economics of Digital Content

The BBC, due to its programs and reach, has been the UK's pride in the global Media realm. But this is changing as new media (The Internet) brings about a convergence of various contents through unique digital mediums. The Uk's Government aims to channel this change in its favour, in order to retain its esteemed position in the global media space. to achieve this it attempts to:

1. Create regulation or intervention that won’t prevent the emergence of new business models, or preserve old and unsustainable ones. But rather to create media policies that it believes would contribute constructively to the transition from old business models to new-media friendly ones. (So say goodbye to "how grandpa used to do it")

2. Limit the ability of advertisers, by ensuring that there is a paid-for product or service for the media consumer to own. This it believes will bring in market forces that will ensure balance and control in favour of the consumer. This simply means the day Facebook decides to sell our personal details to the highest bidding advertisers; we’ll have Bebo to relocate to (oh! Sorry that’s already happening).

3. Develop what I’d like to call Digital Commons, which is to make certain universal digital material available to software bundle companies in order to sustain the UK software market. This is the Government looking after in capitalist behind to sustain the media sector of the economy.

4. Increase the scope of its laws on unlicensed and illegal copying and distribution of content. It also seeks to improve on counter-piracy measures against new technological forms of piracy, and rights enforcement on new methods of illegitimate access. This simply means no more illegal Peer to Peer network downloads for you Limewire Heads. The government will limit as much illegal distribution of licensed products as possible.

In general the government is

“…placing pressures on professional content, whether in program-making or in journalism and newsgathering, with significant implications for the future health and growth of the (Media) sector. While some traditional audio-visual content is under threat, new media content is in its relative infancy as a possible new generator of economic wealth. “

Corporate Nigeria?
What sort of fallacy is that?
…That we must conform to external cultures to perform.
That we must wear suits and ties, and in some circles lie…
with our accent to be accepted.
So I am imperfect till I speak with a cockney twist.
Plain old good English will no longer suffice.

I’m tired of waking up early and sleeping late
